The electric or hybrid vehicle becomes an major element for the engineers cursus, and involves a very transverse  knowledge :
 
- Modelling / simulation of performances.
- Power Electronics : inverters and control strategies : vector flux control , Direct torque control ... Chargers...
- Electrotechnics: DC engines , induction, synchonous (permanent magnets or wound rotor).
- Electrochemistry: batteries(drum kits).
- Vehicule Structure vehicle: serial hybrid (Range Extender), parallel, micro, mild, full hybrid.
- Energy network management : smartgrid, V2grid or V2home.
- Economic and ecological impacts.

CFPELEC offers a collaboration with universities intersted in proposing this cursus to their students.
This collaboration can consisting in one day conference presenting the main issues linked with the electric vehicle to a complete cursus module of training up to 60 hours.
This module of training can include the courses and workshops  including simulation / modelling with Matlab / Simulink.
